Ronan Leonard took Triple A by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 26.
For his spectacular campaign, the Ottawa Oddballs star has been named the 2067 International League Most Valuable Player recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the second baseman.
On the season he compiled a .328 batting average to go with a .391 on-base percentage. The native of West Lafayette, Indiana also added 36 doubles, 2 triples, 17 home runs, 64 RBIs and 85 runs scored.
He received 15 first place votes out of a possible 36. Hillbilly Jacobson of the Syracuse Chiefs finished second in voting with 16 first place votes, while Liam Wollam of the Orlando Wizards finished third.
