Knights Claim 5-4 Triumph
The Charlotte Knights defeated the Buffalo Bisons by the score of 5-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to right fielder Zach Leddy. Leddy went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk for the Knights on the day. Charlotte reliever Zachary Sim snagged the win, upping his record to 3-1. Freddie Mercado shouldered the loss. Charlotte is 5th in the International League Southwest Division with a record of 41-40.

Milan Harris drove in one run for Charlotte. The 27-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Fergie Thuotte. It was his 5th RBI of the season.

"Some of the guys in here work hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Harris told the Charlotte Gazette.
