Greenville Won't Make Playoffs
Monday, September 8th , 2064
The playoff hopes of the Greenville Drive have been extinguished for the year. Today, the team was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the 2064 postseason.
"It's weird, yesterday we were all talking about what we needed to do to make it to the A Championship Series and now we're just counting down the days until the offseason, said Drive center fielder Aitor Aybar.
In their 61 seasons in Single A, the Drive have still yet to qualify for the playoffs. Greenville has won the A Championship Series 2 times in their history.

Madison Clinches Playoff Appearance
Monday, September 8th , 2064
The Madison Muskies celebrated a postseason berth today, but said the real celebrations are still to come.
"We want to officially win the Midwest League Western Division and of course, the A Championship Series," said catcher Ezra Majors.

LumberKings Headed to the Postseason
Monday, September 8th , 2064
The fate of Midwest League Western Division remains undecided, but one thing is now known for sure - the Clinton LumberKings will be playing postseason baseball this season.
The team officially laid claim to a playoff spot today, on the strength of their 73-54 record.
