The Beloit Snappers were mathematically eliminated from contention for the 2060 playoffs today.
"You just wonder if you could have done more to get in a better position at this time of year," said a dejected Snappers manager T.J. Saddler.
Before this season, the Snappers had made the playoffs 6 times in a row. In the 57 years they have been a Single A franchise, they have made the playoffs 16 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Snappers have made the playoffs 10 times. Beloit has won the A Championship Series 2 times in their history.
