It was a fantastic week for Lakewood first baseman Myles Sansone and it was capped off today with the announcement that he was named the winner of the South Atlantic League Player of the Week Award.
Last week Sansone hammered the ball at a torrid .556 pace, going 10-for-18 with 4 home runs, 10 RBIs and 8 runs scored.
Sansone is hitting .333 so far this season with 50 RBIs and 42 runs scored. He has 75 hits including 16 home runs, 13 walks and .371 OBP.
