Savannah Bananas Clinch First in South Atlantic League Carolina Division Sunday, September 7th , 2064 The celebrations were on in full force in the Savannah Bananas clubhouse today as the team clinched the South Atlantic League Carolina Division title for the 12th time. Reliever Peter Rosario said the team "expected the result and put in the work to get it." "Teams in the South Atlantic League should be sitting up and taking notice about us now I'd say," he said of the club and its 88-38 record. Savannah will be vying for its 4th Single A championship once playoffs get underway. |
