Sod Poodles Topple Loons, 8-6, as Myette Shines
The 8-6 Ames win over Great Lakes was due largely to Joe Myette. The Sod Poodles second baseman was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Ames, at 69-58, holds down 5th place in the Midwest League Western Division.

In the bottom of the sixth, the Sod Poodles grabbed the lead when Myette hit his 1st home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Joey Monaghan made it 7-6, Ames.
