Greenwalt #1 PIO Pitcher in July
Monday, August 1st , 2061
Jonathan Greenwalt is the latest Pioneer League Pitcher of the Month award winner. The Calgary starter shone on the hill repeatedly last month and finished July with a sparkling 4-0 record.
In 5 starts he tossed 34.2 innings, posted 33 strikeouts, and put up a 0.78 ERA.
To date this year, in 7 starts, Greenwalt has crafted a 4-1 mark with a 1.15 ERA.

APP Pitcher of the Month Goes to Lopez
Monday, August 1st , 2061
July's #1 hurler was Carl Lopez of Fayetteville. He gunned down Appalachian League hitters the whole month and claimed the Pitcher of the Month award. The Frogs star piled up 4 wins and no losses to take the honor.
The 20-year-old Lopez added 45 strikeouts in 39 innings and 8 walks to his season record and compiled a 0.23 ERA. Other clubs hit .173 against him.
In 8 starts this season, Lopez has registered a 4-1 record and a 0.51 ERA.
