Today Clinton's Rusty Greer was named the Sub League 1 Most Valuable Player Award winner for 1991. He pounded SL1 hurlers hard all season long, collecting 152 hits in 478 at-bats.
With a .318 batting average, 38 doubles, 8 triples, 6 home runs, 58 RBIs and 71 runs scored, he was the top vote-getter.
