Otters Win Round 1 Thursday, August 16th , 2068 After eliminating the Bumblebee Tuna 5-2 in the Round 1 at Timberwolves Ballpark, the victorious Oregon Otters will now move on to the next round: the Round 2. Oregon beat Bumblebee 3-1 in the series. The MVP trophy was awarded to Otters shortstop Lorenzo Villarreal, who knocked in 3 runs, hit .583 and scored 1 times. "The guys were all chanting 'M-V-P' when I went into the clubhouse," Villarreal said later, with a smile. "It was kind of embarrassing but it feels great to be here." The Oregon Otters don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Vermillion Aurorae - San Francisco Fog series. San Francisco leads the series 2 games to 1.
