Mets Blank Royals, Pressey Wins Friday, July 29th , 2061 The bats were ice cold for the Burlington Royals at Burlington Athletic Stadium. Kingsport Mets starter Wayne Pressey kept the Royals cold all day, shutting them out, 8-0. In a fine outing, the 19-year-old hurler allowed 2 hits while striking out 5 and walking 0. "I'm not quite sure what was different today," Pressey admitted later. "I didn't feel like I was doing anything differently, but the results speak for themselves."
