Blue Ridge Takes Divisional Series in Deciding Game Friday, September 30th , 2050 The Blue Ridge Bulldogs are off to the Regional Championship Series after an exciting Divisional Series triumph. Blue Ridge downed the Erwin Mountaineers, but needed the entire series to do so, with a 3-2 win tonight at Ballpark of Blue Ridge wrapping up the series 4-3. "It's every guy in this room that made this happen. Without us all pulling in the same direction, we don't win this series," said Jesús García, who earned MVP honors for a standout offensive series. García put up a .481 with a .562 on-base percentage in the series. He also had 3 home runs, drove in 9 runs and scored 8 runs himself.
