Dragons Move on to Divisional Series
|
By a score of 2-1, the Dayton Dragons have sealed a victory in the Wild Card Series over the Ames Sod Poodles.
"We knew we would be in for a tough series and that's what we got," said right fielder Tyler Rice of the Dragons, who was named the series MVP. "The Sod Poodles knew how to battle and gave us a good test."
The next test for Dayton will come in the Divisional Series, after winning this series 4-2.
The Divisional Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Wild Card Series finishes.
