Escobar Belts Bunch of Base Hits Tuesday, September 30th , 2042 Damien Escobar had an answer for everything the Montreal Expos threw at him today at Rogers Centre. The Toronto right fielder went 5-for-5 in the game to put his name in the record book and put the Blue Jays on top, 10-3. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Escobar said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Damien Escobar singled in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off D'sean McCray in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Robinson Kaizer in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Mike Williams in the 8th.
