Fresno Gets Another L
|
The Texas Rangers picked up a win at Globe Life Park in Arlington, knocking off the Fresno Falcons, 5-2. Starting pitcher Charles Shoop was a big reason why. Earning his 14th save of the year was Callum Espinoza. The losing skid has reached 6 games for Fresno.
The Rangers got a big at-bat from right fielder Monico Sántos. For the game, Sántos went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 14th home run of the season gave Texas a 2-0 lead.
"We put our best foot forward tonight," said a smiling Sántos.
