Bowling Excels in 5-1 Wichita Win
Behind a fine performance from Dave Bowling, the Wichita Pilots knocked off the Portland Sea Dogs, 5-1. Bowling was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Pilots. Wichita, at 27-25, occupies 6th place in the Eastern League Southwest Division.

In the first inning, Bowling had a grand slam home run for Wichita. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Pilots on top, 4-0.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Wichita manager Ryan Coleman.
