The BeerGarden was host to some intense drama.

The Portland Hops faced a tough opponent in Seattle pitcher Dax Russell, but did just enough to pull out the victory at The BeerGarden by a final score of 4-3. Russell went 5.2 innings and allowed 1 run. Portland currently is in 5th place in the American League Pons Division at 40-92.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Portland. That's when Elliot Britton, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2058 draft, hit a run-scoring double off Reese Dayo to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.

"It's great to get the crowd pumped up," Britton said.
