Fenway Park was the site of quite a ballgame.

The Boston Red Sox dealt the Virginia Black Bears a 6-5 loss at Fenway Park. Emrey Bello, who is tied for 10th in the AL in home runs with 23, went 3-4 with 3 doubles and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs. Dylan Ervin snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit over 2 innings. He's now 3-0 on the season.

Marvin McFarlane was the walk-off hero for Boston. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Red Sox center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We came in and got the job done. That's what it's all about in this business," said Bello.

The setback makes Virginia 50-62.
