The Greensboro Grasshoppers got a magnificent performance from pitcher R.J. Ogden, who muffled the Columbia offense en route to a tight, 1-0 Grasshoppers win at Spirit Communications Park. With the win, the Grasshoppers have a record of 52-64.

It could have been a different outcome for Greensboro, had it not been for Derek Lyndon, the 23-year old catcher . Lyndon contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the fourth inning to put Greensboro up, 1-0.

Lyndon attributed the win to "making big pitches in big moments."
