The Omaha Storm Chasers extended their losing streak with a defeat by the Inland Empire 66ers.

The Inland Empire 66ers cruised to a win over the Omaha Storm Chasers, 13-4, at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Cole Clovis led the way, going 2-for-2 for Inland Empire. Inland Empire has a mark of 6-7 after the win.

Robbie Koller had a big run-scoring double for the 66ers in the bottom of the third inning. With Inland Empire leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from 30-year old right-handed pitcher Nyjer Bethea and swatted a double to right. It was his 1st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the 66ers ahead, 2-0.

"Winning a ballgame these days," losing manager Gary Tucker told reporters, "is harder than big game hunting without a gun."
