|
The Savannah Bananas beat the Greensboro Grasshoppers, 3-2, at NewBridge Bank Park. The win was due in part to shortstop Henry Beilfuss, who was 4-4 with a triple, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs. Today's win puts Savannah at 60-47, while Greensboro falls to 46-61.
Carson Borgmann had a direct impact on the outcome. Borgmann contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth inning to put Savannah up, 3-2.
