Angels Earn Late Win
Starting pitcher Jools Anthony gave the California Angels a rock-solid effort. The Redmond, Oregon native helped his team defeat the Cleveland Indians, 3-2, at Disney Stadium. Nick Pullen was the winner in relief. His record is now 3-0. The losing pitcher was Lee Shape. The Angels saw their win-loss record go to 73-68. At the same time, the Indians fell to 82-59.

Michelangelo White was the walk-off hero for California. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Angels designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Anthony.
