Osuna Selected SL2's Best Player
Wednesday, October 24th , 2018
The manager of the Quincy Bears said he thinks José Osuna is only going to get better as he gets older.
He may only be 25, but it will be hard to top the first baseman's 2018 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Sub League 2 Most Valuable Player Award.
His winning campaign featured a .415 batting average and a .475 on-base percentage this year. In 106 games he piled up 184 hits, 63 doubles, 8 triples, 18 home runs, 136 RBIs and 113 runs scored.
He received 26 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Adrian Sanchez of the Miramar Jackrabbits finished second in voting, while JT Riddle of the Quincy Bears finished third.
