It's Official: Delabar Will Retire

Flanked by his two young children, Steve Delabar said his reason for retirement is simple.
"I want to spend more time being a father now," the Santa Ana White Sox reliever said in announcing that this season would be his last in pro baseball. "I'm 37 years old now, I think it's a good time to go."
Delabar has a career spanning 57 appearances. He has earned 3 saves and posted 52 strikeouts in 54.2 innings. His record is 2-1 and he has a 4.28 ERA.
