He gave up 2 hits, issued 1 walk and had 2 strikeouts. Los Angeles hitters were bewildered throughout the game by his delivery. "When you face a guy who hides the ball like he does, it takes a couple of at-bats to try to find his release point," opposing manager Herman Killigrew said. "We just never figured him out."
