A W Honors May's #1 Pitcher

In May Lake Elsinore starter Chris Mills confused hitters all month long. Last month's Low-A West Pitcher of the Month took home the trophy as he collected a 4-0 record in 2 starts.
The 24-year-old Mills added 26 strikeouts in 22.2 innings and 2 walks to his season record and compiled a 0.79 ERA. Other clubs hit .224 against him.
This year, Mills has compiled a 6-0 record with a 0.69 ERA in 2 starts.

A W Presents Batter of Month Trophy to Immel

For a rookie just breaking in, Chris Immel certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the A W Batter of the Month award for May.
The 24-year-old center fielder for the Lake Elsinore Storm hit .340 with 4 home runs, 29 RBIs and 27 runs scored.
