López Strikes Out as South Georgia Manager

Rafael López had actually diagnosed the problem himself just weeks ago. After a particularly bad stretch of games earlier in the season he said, "The team just needs to change the way it's operating."
He probably didn't expect his firing to be one of those changes, though.
Nevertheless, this is the route the South Georgia Peanuts have decided to take, firing López late last night.
The Peanuts have had internal discussions on a potential replacement, but an unnamed source within the front office said that they're taking it one step at a time. The first step seems to have been to remove López.
