The manager of the Las Vegas Reyes de Platas said he thinks Etienne Morbidelli is only going to get better as he gets older.
He may only be 19, but it will be hard to top the center fielder's 2062 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the National League Outstanding Hitter Award.
His winning campaign featured a .427 batting average and a .519 on-base percentage this year. In 47 games he piled up 85 hits, 18 doubles, no triples, 23 home runs, 84 RBIs and 67 runs scored.
He received 25 first place votes out of a possible 30. Stan Stanley of the Las Vegas Reyes de Platas finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Clovis Sack of the Danville Braves finished third.
