Mets 2 Advance to Round 3

The New York N (DSL) Mets 2 will continue the trek towards a Round 3 title, while the Chicago N (DSL) Cubs 1 are headed home for the season.
New York N (DSL) won the Round 2 with a clinching game 3-1 victory at Baseball City Complex, concluding the series at 4-2.
"We didn't want this thing to go any further, that's for sure," Manny Gutierrez said after officially being named series MVP.
He turned in a dominant offensive performance to win the award, with a .458 batting average, .519 on-base percentage, 1 home runs, 3 RBI and 3 runs scored.
The New York N (DSL) Mets 2 will play against the Los Angeles (DSL) Dodgers Robinson in the next round. Los Angeles (DSL) won their series against the Miami (DSL) Marlins 4 games to 1. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes.

Dodgers Robinson Heading to Round 3

The championship aspirations of the Los Angeles (DSL) Dodgers Robinson are still alive and well, while the Miami (DSL) Marlins are left to wait until next year.
Los Angeles (DSL) won the clinching game of the Round 2 2-1 over Miami (DSL) at Las Palmas Complex, to win the series 4-1.
"You feel like a little kid again, celebrating something like this," said center fielder Mike Delago, who paced the Los Angeles (DSL) offense and was named series MVP. "We take everything real seriously when we're on the field, but after a series is over you can finally relax a little bit."
Delago claimed the MVP by racking up 8 hits for a .381 average, with a .409 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, 3 RBI and scored 3 runs.
The Los Angeles (DSL) Dodgers Robinson don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the New York N (DSL) Mets 2 - Chicago N (DSL) Cubs 1 series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes.
