Injury Derails Season for Messina

Clearly dejected, Carson Messina left the Pittsburgh (FCL) clubhouse nearly in tears this afternoon. He acknowledged that his season is over after sustaining shoulder inflammation in a ballgame recently. It brings an early end to the Pittsburgh (FCL) third baseman's season.
Messina is batting .286 this year with 1 home run, 6 RBIs and 5 runs scored. He has 10 hits in 35 at-bats.
