Deal is Done, Davidson Buys Chicago White Sox Saturday, November 2nd , 2024 The deal is done and the fans are overjoyed. The Chicago White Sox will have a new owner soon and the fans are glad he is one of them. He's Tommy Davidson, a popular local civic leader and businessman. Davidson has bought the club from Jerry Reinsdorf and will take over as soon as he gets approval by the MLB owners. Last season the Chicago White Sox came in first in the American League Central Division with a 83-79 record. As far as attitude and character, sources close to Davidson told reporters off-the-record that he was quite normal in financial areas and tolerant in character and temperament. |
