Cibaeñas's Vicioso Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits
Friday, December 5th , 2025
5 times is the charm -- at least for Luis Vicioso.

The Cibaeñas Eagles catcher tore up the Licey Tigers to the tune of 5 hits in 6 at-bats at Aguilas Cibaenas Grounds. The offensive onslaught from Vicioso powered the 13-6 Eagles win.

"Vicioso was a tough out," Licey manager Norberto Martin said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure."

Luis Vicioso grounded out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Juan Guevara in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Vicente Carrasco in the 7th and singled in the 8th.

Vicioso is swinging at a .478 pace on the year with 10 home runs, 26 RBIs and 28 runs scored. He has played in 25 games.
