Blue Jays Advance to Division Series Thursday, October 3rd , 2024 The Toronto Blue Jays are off to the Division Series after an exciting Wild Card Game triumph. Toronto downed the Chicago White Sox, but needed the entire series to do so, with a 4-3 win tonight at Guaranteed Rate Field wrapping up the series 2-1. "It's every guy in this room that made this happen. Without us all pulling in the same direction, we don't win this series," said Josh Kasevich, who earned MVP honors for a standout offensive series. Kasevich put up a .333 with a .385 on-base percentage in the series. He also had 1 home runs, drove in 4 runs and scored 2 runs himself. The Toronto Blue Jays will play against the Los Angeles Angels in the next round. Los Angeles had a bye in the Wild Card Game. The Division Series is scheduled to begin on October 4th , 2024.
