Yoshinobu Yamamoto of Oakland Injured, DTD Saturday, August 24th , 2024 It's a long season and everyone picks up some cuts and bruises along the way. The latest star to be suffering this year is Yoshinobu Yamamoto of the Oakland Athletics, who suffered shoulder inflammation while throwing a pitch in yesterday's contest against Milwaukee. While he could play through the injury, it's unclear whether or not the Oakland organization will risk that or simply sit him out for the 2 weeks the injury is expected to last. So far this year Yamamoto has compiled a 9-6 record with a 3.19 ERA. |
