Astros Topple Rangers, 8-6, as Peña Shines
The Houston Astros defeated the Texas Rangers, 8-6, at Globe Life Field. Houston shortstop Jeremy Peña had a superb performance. He was 4-4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Hunter Brown was the winning pitcher. Over 5.1 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 7 hits, with 3 walks and 7 strikeouts. Losses have been rare for the Rangers, who are now 15-6.

With Houston leading 1-0 in the top of the first, Peña hit a changeup from Shinnosuke Ogasawara for a 2-run home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Astros ahead, 3-0.

"It feels good, just a great win all around," Peña said after the game.
