The Cleveland Guardians defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates, 5-4. Doing his part was right fielder Josh Naylor, who was 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The loss has the Pirates at 1-1.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Cleveland left fielder Steven Kwan, facing Brock Burke, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Guardians the 5-4 win.

"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Kwan said.
