Thanks in large part to third baseman Colson Montgomery, the Chicago White Sox beat the New York Yankees, 4-0. Montgomery went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. New York has now lost 7 in a row.

With Chicago leading 1-0 in the top of the fourth, Montgomery hit a sinker from Jonathan Loáisiga for a solo home run. It was his 14th home run of the season and put the White Sox ahead, 2-0.

"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Montgomery.
