Nationals Need Extra Innings to Top Rockies, 6-5
Colorado first baseman Michael Toglia had a good game, even if his team did not. The Rockies dropped a 6-5 decision to Washington at Nationals Park. Toglia hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4. Washington pitcher Alex Reyes got the win. He's now 3-1. Jose López was tagged with the loss. At 53-90, Washington is in last place in the National League East Division.

The Nationals got a clutch hit from catcher Keibert Ruiz. In the bottom of the 13th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Nationals.

"This place sure got loud," said Dave Martinez, the Washington manager.
