Rangers Handed 4-2 Loss by Chicago
|
The Chicago Cubs and Texas Rangers completed their game despite the rain.
The Chicago Cubs got a good effort from starter Joe Musgrove in defeating the Texas Rangers at Wrigley Field. The final score was 4-2. The second-place Cubs improved to 57-60.
Drew Millas cracked a home run off Jacob deGrom in the bottom of the second. His 2-run blast put the Cubs on top, 2-0. In all, Millas had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.
"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Musgrove said after the game.
