Cleveland got a strong outing from Logan Allen as the Guardians defeated the New York Yankees, 4-1, at Yankee Stadium. With the win, Cleveland pushed its record to 57-53.

Allen made it look easy. He scattered no hits over 7 innings, while racking up 10 strikeouts. The left-hander upped his season record to 7-9.

"Logan is pitching with a lot of determination and a lot of fire," said Cleveland manager Terry Francona.
