Katz Sends Thornhill Bats to Deep Freeze Thursday, August 19th , 2010 James Katz shut down the Thornhill Reds today, blanking them 2-0 on 3 hits, ringing up 7 strikeouts and allowing 1 walk. The Kanagawa Dolphins pitcher appeared to get stronger as the game went on. "I don't know if I was getting any stronger," Katz said after the game. "I feel like my mechanics were getting better. I was able to make some adjustments and get a little more comfortable out there." In 24 starts this season Katz has chalked up a 7-9 record and a 3.14 ERA. |
