Surf Shacks Heading to World Series
The Lahaina Surf Shacks and Hiroshima Carp held nothing back in an entertaining League Championship Series that went the distance.

In the end, it will be Lahaina advancing to the World Series, after a 5-0 triumph in the final game at Oxnard Grounds, to wrap up the series 4-3.

The Surf Shacks players celebrated jubilantly in their clubhouse after the game, while the scene was one of dismay on the opposing side for the Carp.

Dylan Weaver was named series MVP for Lahaina. For the series, Weaver hit .385 with a .467 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 4 runs.

The Lahaina Surf Shacks will play against the Lihue Roosters in the next round. Lihue won their series against the Sinuiju Pirates 4 games to 3. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
