Choi Too Tough, Blanks Kyoto
Friday, July 18th , 2110
In an outstanding mound performance, Busan Bluebirds starter Jun-ho Choi fired a complete-game shutout against the Kyoto Marshals at Marshals Stadium today.

Choi was the key to the Bluebirds's 6-0 win. The 29-year-old left-hander was in high spirits on the mount for much of the game, his mood largely undented by the 2 hits and 4 walks he allowed.

"2 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter as long as it was a shutout."

This season Choi has compiled a 6-4 record with a 4.02 ERA.
