Brooks, Phan Swap Teams Tuesday, February 6th , 2114 Reports have surfaced that Sydney has agreed to send 24-year old LF Alastair Brooks, 23-year old LHP Jing Der, and 21-year old 1B Bejo Maryadi to the Kuala Lampur Reds in exchange for 26-year old 2B Cam Phan. "It's a done deal," said one executive speaking on the condition of anonymity. "I'm surprised word got around so quickly. We just signed off on this an hour ago." The deal apparently is awaiting physicals before an official announcement is made by either team. Phan has a lifetime .250 average and .329 on-base percentage in his career with 357 hits, 66 doubles, 9 triples, 43 home runs, 178 RBIs and 185 runs scored. |
