Krisna Rais is a long, lean athletic starting pitcher who was born in Wewak, Papua New Guinea. His four-pitch arsenal includes a plus sinker, a nice slider, an average fastball, and an average changeup. His control is fantastic, and that should let him avoid running into walk trouble through his career. His stuff should be pretty good too, and that may be more valuable. Rais should rank among the best starting pitcher prospects in any organization.
