The rumor has been out there for a while now and today it was made official. The Belo Horizonte Golden Panthers have sent 30-year old 3B Gabe Dieguez to the Guayaquil Loggers for 27-year old RHP Edgar Nava.
Dieguez is hitting .246 lifetime with 281 hits, 31 doubles, no triples, 26 home runs, and 125 RBIs to date. He has scored 129 runs and stolen 5 bases.
In 37 career appearances, Nava has a 5-7 record, saved 12 games, fanned 73 batters in 116.2 innings and put up a 3.70 ERA.
