It's Over: Rainbows Stop Bastide Wednesday, July 8th , 2111 The hitting streak that Amman center fielder Maxence Bastide had kept going for 26 games was ended by the Cape Town Rainbows. Bastide was stymied over 4 at-bats, but the rest of his team picked him up, getting the 5-2 victory at Barnstormers Ballpark. "Hitting streaks come and go," Bastide said. "It did put a little pressure on me. It's hard to be natural at the plate with something like that always in the back of your mind. If it had to end, I'm glad it was in a win."
