The 23-year-old second baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Eastern League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .536 average (15-for-28) with 3 home runs, 10 RBIs and 6 runs scored. So far this year in 72 games, Brkic is hitting .274 with 15 home runs, 50 RBIs and 41 runs scored. |
