Buenos Aires beat Bogota on the strength of starter Sayyar Hamzah's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-3. Hamzah got the win, improving to 5-2. He allowed 8 hits and walked 1 over 7 innings. Hamzah allowed 2 runs. Getting the save was Lakew Mgeni, his 13th.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Meles Missaoui? The Buenos Aires third baseman had a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put the Tango on top, 2-1. For the game, Missaoui had 2 doubles and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Missaoui said.

With the win, Buenos Aires raised its record to 23-19.
