The Nigeria Nkali beat the Prague Mammoths, 8-2, at Lagos Stadium. The Nkali got a fine performance from left fielder Abalendu Tarpa, who went 2-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice. Nigeria has now won 4 straight, while the Mammoths have lost 3 in a row.

With Nigeria leading 5-1 in the bottom of the seventh, Tarpa came up to bat against Prague pitcher Apostolos Tsaousidis. Tarpa hit a fastball to left-center for a 3-run home run. His 4th home run of the season put the Nkali on top, 8-1.

Tarpa attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
