The Cairo Pharaohs and Stockholm Vikings obliged fans hoping for an exciting game.
Cairo left fielder Baira Varahabhotla had a 4-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Stockholm Vikings, 9-8. Birju Muthukaruppan collected his 7th save.
In the first inning, Varahabhotla had a 3-run home run for Cairo. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Pharaohs on top, 3-0.
"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said Varahabhotla.
The third-place Vikings dropped to 22-23.
