Rome pitcher Mikael Schwartz did his part in helping his team beat the Barbados Fine Legs, 4-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Niels Zinck earned the save for Rome. The Rome winning streak has reached 4 games.

Kai Savage had a big run-scoring double for the Gladiators in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Rome leading 2-1 and a runner on 1st, he got a cutter from Bràmi Galimuna, who leads the WL in innings pitched with 68.1, and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 11th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Gladiators ahead, 3-1.

Savage attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
