Hanoi Red Dragons starter Szczedrzyk Lubka pitched a strong game against the Bangkok Elephants at Bangkok Ballpark, leading the Red Dragons to victory, 8-5. Breen Boyle recorded his 6th save for Hanoi. Early on, the Red Dragons, at 22-9, have excelled.

Milo Brkic had a big solo home run for the Red Dragons in the top of the sixth inning. With Hanoi leading 1-0 and the bases empty, he sized up a curveball from Norberto Lenire, who is tied for 8th in the EL with a 2.72 ERA, and punished it. The result was his 10th home run of the season, which put the Red Dragons on top, 2-0.

"Szczedrzyk did a heck of a job," said Hanoi manager Ponco Kusuma.
